Choose your base and then, in the notes at checkout, tell me; What colour you would like the base dyed. What colour(s) you would like for the speckles. If you'd like particularly heavy or light speckling. You are not limited to those pictured - they are just examples!
Things to note: Base colour - most of my bases are off-white/natural so colours will pop more on these than on those that are naturally grey, or camel coloured (please check the yarn list below). Some bases speckle more clearly than others - dyes tend to blotch or run more on non superwash yarn, but may do this on other bases too. Lots of dyes 'break' when speckled, meaning that if you ask for one colour, you may get a myriad - purple may split into pinks, blues, etc. And colours may merge as I speckle them. If you choose for me to dye the base colour, think how it may affect the speckle colours - speckling yellow over a blue base may give greens, for example.
Once you have checked out, I will dye your yarn. This may take up to 2-3 weeks. If I have any questions I will email you, so please make sure you add your email as you checkout.
Please note that the term 'sock' is generic and these yarns are otherwise known as fingering weight or 4ply, the word sock in no way limits them to or recommends them only for use in socks.

Customs will be added to my dyeing list, which is worked in rough order. Turnaround time varies, but is usually 2-3 weeks. In the unlikely event that I don't have the correct base in stock and can't get it quickly, I will contact you.

I dye in small batches, but even skeins dyed together may not be exactly the same, so you may choose to alternate skeins in your project.
